Hello Everybody!
Hope you’re all well. The Toni Land Trio with Toni Land (that’s me on vocals, guitar and piano), Larry Fries (vocals, guitar, uke) and Kim Devine (vocals and percussion) has expanded to The Toni Land Band. David Blink and Jim Bixler joined us recently at the Festival of the Arts in Brookings and will join us for some shows coming up listed below.
The back-story is that David and Jim are my new neighbors and as it turns out, they can really play! How convenient! They really bring the party to our little trio. David has a steller background as a multi-instrumentalist, music educator, composer. He’s currently working on his Doctorate degree in music. Yep, he’s the real deal. You can check out his amazing work at davidblinkmusic.com. Now Jim, on the other hand, swears he’s not a professional but I know he can hold is own with the best of them on congas. I’ve witnessed it. This is a man who just loves music. Both of these guys are wonderful to play with. I think you will enjoy the party flavor of all of this.
